The Curtis is a Hilton DoubleTree Hotel. Love this Hotel for the location and the ambience. Each floor of this wonderful hotel has a unique theme. Ironically (recent back surgery) I was on the 'Dance Floor'. Located in the heart of the city and only 2 blocks from bustling 16th street, it is the perfect hotel for both business and leisure travelers.
Tattered Cover Book Store is in my top 10 bookstores to visit in the country. Friendly knowledgeable staff with a wide selection of new and used books. There are 4 locations in and around Denver. I always visit the Historic LoDo store (pictured) since it is close to The Curtis.

Michael Cunningham is the author of the Pulitzer Winner The Hours. I am a fan of his work and I collect all of his books. Sunil Yapa is one to keep an eye on and I will not be surprised to see his debut novel considered for upcoming literary awards.

Tag is aesthetically fantastic and deliciously unique. Drinks poured by knowledgeable mixologists and food created and inspired by Chef Troy Guard. Also love this restaurant because they are able to make any selection gluten-free (I have Celiac). I started with the Flash Seared Hamachi with Pop Rocks (yes those Pop Rocks!), moved onto the Deconstructed Pho Shortribs, and ended the night with the delightful Cheesecake accompanied with a perfect Sherry.
