"For Poetry is not as much an answer to the world as it is a question which the world receives and hears from the lips of one who contemplates it."
- Vicente Aleixandre (Nobel Prize winner)
Truly a beautiful and accurate descriptive statement on Poetry. April is National Poetry Month. A month to reflect on ground-shaking earth-shattering Poets and uncover and re-discover great Poems. Poetry is a forgotten literary form in the mainstream of today. Yet poetry, I would argue, is the most beautiful form of it's kind. Poetry is a song a sonnet an ode that sings beauty, pain, sorrow, despair, laughter, humor...whatever emotion the Poet asks for and the reader infers and gathers.
